Death Race 2 is being released by Universal Studios Home Entertainment DVD Originals™ in Blu-ray™, DVD and Digital Download formats on 18th January, 2011.

The Combo Pack Blu-ray™ and DVD will include a 2-disc set comprising both rated and un-rated versions of the film as well as in-depth bonus behind-the-scenes features

The Blu-ray™ Combo Pack will also include a digital copy of the un-rated version which can be viewed on various electronic and portable devices.

Preorder from November 30, 2010.

It’s  a great week for South African actors Tanit Phoenix and Joe Vaz. As Lost Boys: The Thirst gears up for release on DVD and BluRay next week (Oct 12th) the trailer for Death Race 2 has just surfaced on the web.

In Lost Boys: The Thirst Tanit and Joe  star as Gwen Leiber and Claus respectively, in Death Race 2 Tanit plays Katrina Banks, Carl Lucas’s (Luke Goss) hotter-than-hell navigator and Joe is Rocco who, together with Goldberg (Danny Trejo) and Lists (Frederick Koehler) make up Lucas’s pit crew.
