Joe’s band, ten Athlone, have two songs featured in the new Ryan Kruger Thing, Street Trash. The two tracks, ‘Street Trash’, and ‘New Day’, will feature as end-credit music.

The uber-gory, bloody-disgusting first trailer for Street Trash has been released.

“The mayor’s melting people!” Screambox has revealed an official trailer for Street Trash, a demented, uber-gory horror creation from South Africa. It’ll be out on VOD and streaming on Screambox this fall. Shot entirely on 35mm, the film is described as “raw, hilarious, packed with vibrant characters and multi-colored explosions of gooey greatness.” This looks like a totally gnarly John Carpenter splatter fest from the 1980s that somehow ended up in 2024. Bring a poncho. – So says FIRSTSHOWING.NET

Starring Sean Cameron Michael, Donna Cormack-Thomson and Joe Vaz, Street Trash, from Cineverse, Bloody Disgusting, SCREAMBOX and genre titans Vinegar Syndrome, follows a group of homeless misfits as they fight for survival when they discover a plot to exterminate every homeless person in the city.

It’s about politics and the power of stories and legends. In other words, it’s what you wanted Game of Thrones to be, a perfectly plotted show full of changing alliances, betrayal, and a scramble for power.
