Buurtwag, the wonderfully funny and beautifully poignant new comedy-drama series, written and directed by Beer Adriaanse, will premiere on Kyknet (DSTV Channel, 146) on September 30 at 9pm.
Buurtwag follows the story of young couple, Johan and Yolandie Bester, who soon after arriving in the Cape learn the hard way that crime still exists and that Cape Town is not exempt from the rest of South Africa’s criminal behaviour.
This leads them to meet Don Mostert and the men of the Buurtwag, or neighbourhood watch.
