The first reviews are out for last week’s premier of Part One of Restless, which stars Hayley Atwell (Captain America: The First Avenger), Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey), Rufus Sewell (The Pillars of the Earth) and the dynamic acting duo of Charlotte Rampling and Michael Gambon.
According to The Hollywood Reporter:
“Having already scored with its two scripted ventures — Carlos and Appropriate Adult — Sundance Channel keeps its streak going with Restless, a superb two-part miniseries about British spies in the early 1940s before America’s entry into World War II.”
Sundance Channel will screen Part 1 of its BBC co-produced two-part thriller Restless at 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7 on the Sundance Channel (I assume that’s EDT).
Based on the novel by British novelist William Boyd and directed by Edward Hall, Restless follows the story of a daughter Ruth (Michelle Dockery) who discovers that her mother Sally (Charlotte Rampling) was recruited as a spy during World War II.
Hayley Atwell, Rufus Sewell and Michael Gambon co-star.
Don’t miss this gripping spy thriller – it’s fantastic.
