Finally my very first Radio Play is available for your listening pleasure.
The Resident Member by Paul Marlowe was adapted for radio and directed by Digby Young and features Gideon Emery, Joe Vaz, Digby Young, Damon Berry and Christa Schamberger-Young.
Final mix was done by Simon “Fuzzy” Ratcliffe at Sound and Motion Studios in Cape Town.

Poster illustration was done by the one and only Vincent Sammy.

Just to let you all know my good friend Damon Berry (AKA Mystery White Boy) is doing a gig this weekend at Granddaddy in Cape Town with the awesome Ian Henderson.

It promises to be a “fusion of poetry and music”, but don’t take my word for it. Check it out for yourself.
This is seriously gonna rock.

Where Claus gets to chill

Well, I picture-wrapped on LB3 last night. As is so often the case with these things my last scene was pretty anti-climactic and was just a reverse-angle shot (from behind me) of a scene I’d shot last week.

Working on LB3 was such a blast and I’m seriously going to miss the cast and crew. It was wonderful to reconnect with old friends and make a bunch of new ones.

Lost Boys: The Thirst

Well it’s been official for a couple of weeks now, but I have been stuck on set so I haven’t had a chance to update the site.
All I can tell you guys so far is that I play Claus. He’s a fun character and the movie rocks. Director Dario (Piana) kicks ass and it’s great to see the Frog Brothers back together again.

That’s about all I can say at the moment.
Will keep you posted.

District 9 Q&A Session

In association with Flamedrop Productions I helped organise and MC’d a small and very impromptu Q&A Sesssion with some of the cast and crew of the unbelievably awesome movie District 9.
As some of you may know the entire film was shot in South Africa, by South Africans and starring South Africans.
Guests are Jason Cope (Christopher Johnson and Grey Bradnam) Vanessa Haywood (Tania vd Merwe) and Producer Michael S. Murphy.
