Joe began his career in musical theatre in 1994 when he gate-crashed an audition for Joseph and nabbed himself the part of a “hairy” Ishmaelite.
For the first 8 years of his career Joe worked primarily on stage along with a brief (2 year) stint as a puppeteer in the award-winning children’s programme Kideo, where he puppeteered and voiced the lead - a donkey called Mr. Chinwag. Kideo received the Tokyo International Television Prize for the most innovative programme in 95 and received the Prix de Jeunesse in Munich in 1996 beating Sesame Street into fourth place.
Today Joe focuses mainly on Film and Television but the lure of the stage is always there.
